Champions League holders Barcelona cruised into the last 16 with two games to spare thanks to a thumping 7-0 win over Swedish champions Rosengard.

England midfielder Kiera Walsh opened the scoring for the Spanish champions at Estadi Johan Cruyffand.

Caroline Graham Hansen added a second, Salma Paralluelo scored twice and Claudia Pina and Marta Torrejon also netted.

Jessica Wik scored a late own goal for Rosengard.

Barcelona managed 43 shots to Rosengard’s five as they extended their 100% record in Group A.

Two-time Champions League winners Barcelona are five points ahead of second-placed Benfica, who drew 1-1 draw at Eintracht Frankfurt earlier on Thursday.

Rosengard are bottom of the group with no points and cannot reach the knockout stages.
