Maddy Cusack’s mother says her daughter’s ‘spirit was broken’ by the ‘pressures’ of football
Speaking to BBC Breakfast, Deborah Cusack, the mother of footballer Maddy Cusack who died at the age of 27, says her daughter’s “spirit was broken”.
Maddy, who played for Sheffield United, was found dead at her home in Derbyshire two months ago.
An inquest has been opened and Sheffield United said they are “supporting the Cusack family”.
