Mikel Arteta issues Bukayo Saka injury update ahead of Arsenal vs West Ham | Football

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is confident Bukayo Saka will be fit enough to feature against West Ham on Sunday.

The England international scored the opening goal in last weekend’s 3-1 win over Liverpool but failed to complete 90 minutes after he was forced off with a late injury.

Arteta’s side are back in action against the Hammers this weekend and are likely to have their star man available according to Arteta.

Asked for an update on the 22-year-old, he said: ‘He’s been recovering this week and he looks OK

The Arsenal manager, meanwhile is still sweating on the fitness of Gabriel Jesus who missed the Liverpool victory altogether.
