Watch: Delia Smith’s car hit by objects at Ipswich v Norwich game

Video captured the moment Delia Smith’s car was hit by objects including at least one can as she arrived at Ipswich Town’s stadium.

The celebrity cook and Norwich City owner was travelling to the Portman Road ground for Saturday’s derby.

Several items appeared to land on the BMW as people could be heard chanting “scum” in its direction.

The Championship league game ended in a 2-2 draw.

Afterwards, celebrity Ipswich fan Ed Sheeran posted a short selfie video featuring Delia.

An Ipswich Town spokesman said: “We are aware of a reported incident on Saturday that took place outside of the stadium on Constantine Road.

“The local authorities are aware and we will assist them in any way possible.”

Suffolk Police has been approached for comment.
